Join us under the stars at Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest peak, for a serene stargazing night on the weekend. With the moon less bright compared to earlier in the week, this is a great opportunity to enjoy clearer skies and potentially see meteors from the Perseids meteor shower.
The event features telescope observations, guided constellation tours, and celestial storytelling, all led by expert astronomers in an exclusive mountain setting far from city lights. Whether you’re a first-time stargazer or a seasoned astronomy lover, this night promises awe, learning, and unforgettable views of the night sky.
Event Ticket Fee:
- General Tickets: AED 250
- Kids (Under 13): AED 175
Event Program:
- 09:15 PM – Event Introduction
- 09:45 PM – Talk: Perseids Meteor Shower
- 10:30 PM – Sky Mapping Session (Stories about the Constellations)
- 11:00 PM – Q & A Session
- Telescope Observation all throughout the evening (Saturn and deep sky objects)
- Phone photography of celestial objects through telescopes

The venue for the event is Jebel Jais - RAK
A precise location pin will be sent by email after you register for the program.
A 4x4 is not required to reach the location

Although we will be providing mats and water, you are requested to carry any necessities you might deem necessary over the period of the event (snacks, jackets, seats, etc.) for your comfort.

We don’t recommend bringing kids under the age of 5 to our events.

Meteors will not be visible through the telescopes
Meteors travel across the sky too quickly to be viewed through telescopes, making them best seen with the naked eye.
