Join us for Iftar Under the Stars and experience the beauty of the night sky while breaking your fast in the serene desert. Enjoy a peaceful iftar at Al Qudra Desert on March 16th, followed by a fascinating lecture on Ramadan Through the Lens of Astronomy, a sky mapping session, and guided telescope observations of planets and celestial wonders.
Event Ticket Fee:
- General Tickets: AED 180

Event Program:
- 06:00 PM – Event intro
- 06:30 PM – Maghrib Prayer
- 06:30 PM – Iftar
- 07:30 PM – Talk: Ramadan Through the Lens of Astronomy + Q&A session
- 08:00 PM – Sky Mapping Session (Stories of the Night Sky)
- 08:15 PM – Isha Prayer
- 09:00 PM – Event End
- Telescope Observation throughout the night of Jupiter, Mars, Moon, and deep sky objects.
Important Information
The venue for the event is Al Qudra Desert - Dubai
A precise location pin will be sent by email after you register for the program.

Public bathrooms are at Al Qudra Last Exit, a 10-mins drive away from the event location.
The weather will be cold
The weather will be very cold and windy so please prepare/dress accordingly.
REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE IN ADVANCE
No registration will be accepted/allowed at the venue.
A 4x4 car is not required to reach the event location
Although recommended, a 4×4 car is not required to reach the event location.

You're requested to bring along your Emirates ID
You are requested to bring any form of identification with you to be presented at the venue upon request.
DAG Members are requested to bring ID
DAG paid members are requested to bring their digital membership card to be presented upon request.
Kids under the age of 5 don't require a ticket
We don’t recommend bringing kids under the age of 5 to our events.
Kids under 13 need to be accompanied by a parent
Kids under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent. Parents are required to purchase a ticket.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Taxis or any other public transportation will not be able to reach this location. plan accordingly.
