In the Astrophotography Hands-On course, learn everything about photographing the night sky in a clear, easy-to-follow steps by an expert astrophotographer and instructor. Start your journey building and using your setup, knowing how to perfectly assemble your equipment and taking your first images.

Course Outline:

• Know how to assemble your equipment correctly (Telescope, Main Camera, Guide Camera, Mount, Focuser)
• Know how to Level & Balance your setup
• Know how to properly Polar Align your mount
• Know how to Focus your main and guide scopes
• Know how to find your targets and know your FoV
• Know the Guiding concepts
• Start your imaging with the right exposure times

Important Information:

• If you don’t own a DSLR camera, we can lend you one for the duration of this course.
• Entrance to Mushrif Park is AED 10 per car or AED 3 per person through Nol card.
• You can purchase a Nol card at the park gate.
• You can recharge your already existing Nol card at the gate.
• Masks are MANDATORY!
• Social distancing must be practiced at all times.
• Tickets for this program are LIMITED!
• Please bring the hard copy or soft copy of the event ticket email to ensure a smooth and fast check-in.
