Knowing the basics is essential to building your knowledge on strong foundations. In this introductory astrophotography course, we will go through the basics & tools you need to get started.

• What is Astrophotography & Why we do it
• What are the tools and equipment we use
• What are the necessary equipment you need to start your journey

Course Objectives:

• Understanding the concept of Astrophotography
• Knowing the Equipment and why we need them (Cameras, Mounts, Telescopes, Focusers, Controlling Software)
• What do you really need to start your journey in Astrophotography

Important Information: 

• If you don’t own a DSLR camera, we can lend you one for the duration of this course.
• Entrance to Mushrif Park is AED 10 per car or AED 3 per person through Nol card.
• You can purchase a Nol card at the park gate.
• You can recharge your already existing Nol card at the gate.
• Masks are MANDATORY!
• Social distancing must be practiced at all times.
• Tickets for this program are LIMITED!
• Please bring the hard copy or soft copy of the event ticket email to ensure a smooth and fast check-in.
• Dubai Astronomy Group paid members are requested to bring their membership ID card to be presented upon request.
