Learn About Orbiters, The Atmosphere, and Astrodynamics
Learn all about the Space Shuttle in this course. This course goes into detail on many of the shuttle’s subsystems (rocket engines, thermal protection, aerodynamics, environmental control, and life support) and explains how the Shuttle was operated (launch, mission control, payloads, etc.).
Students will get a good perspective on the complexities of Shuttle development and its operations. This course also explores orbital mechanics or astrodynamics that concerns the motion of rockets and other spacecraft.
